Electrician / Senior Installation & Service Technician – Low Voltage Systems
As PCS expands across Ontario, we’re looking for an experienced Electrician or Senior Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Toronto. This is a hands-on role with leadership potential — the right candidate will grow into a Foreman position, becoming a key part of PCS’s Ontario expansion plan.
What You’ll Do
✅ Install, terminate, and test voice/data, Nurse Call, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems
✅ Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
✅ Troubleshoot and maintain low-voltage cabling (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber)
✅ Work closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and clients
✅ Provide on-site technical leadership and mentor junior technicians
✅ Ensure installations meet PCS standards of safety and quality
Your Qualifications
🔹 Licensed Electrician or equivalent low-voltage systems experience
🔹 Proficiency with structured cabling and system integration
🔹 Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
🔹 Ability to work independently or lead small teams
🔹 Experience with telecom, security, or life-safety systems (an asset)
🔹 Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites

Telecommunications and Security Service Technician
PCS is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our service team supporting telecommunications, life-safety, and security systems in seniors housing communities. This role involves a mix of on-site service calls and remote technical support, ensuring critical systems remain reliable, compliant, and fully operational.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, customer-focused, and experienced working in occupied healthcare or senior living environments where professionalism and responsiveness are essential.
Responsibilities
• Provide on-site and remote service, troubleshooting, and repair for telecommunications and security systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to nurse call, telephone, CCTV, card access, and A/V systems
• Perform system testing, configuration, and minor installations or upgrades
• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate clearly with clients, caregivers, and internal team members
• Document service activities, findings, and resolutions accurately
• Support preventative maintenance programs and system inspections
• Adhere to safety standards, site protocols, and company procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
